API 5L X56 grade carbon steel pipes are manufactured in seamless and welded forms, it has good durability, workability, and ductility. This grade of pipes is widely used in various transportation systems of various fluids and gases. While the X56 grade of pipes has huge industry acceptance and is used for various applications like oil and gas refineries, petrochemical industry, power plants, fertilizers industry, off-stream industry, water supply, and more. With favorable features, standard specifications and inexpensive rates many commercial sectors choose the X56 grade of pipes for their day to day applications. While the X56 carbon alloy prevents rusting and pitting in various acidic conditions.

X56 Grade PSL1 Line Pipe – Common Use Grade

The epoxy coating and black paint protects the base metal in various natural conditions and helps the metal against corrosion and erosion. This X56 grade of pipes are also know L386 pipes, where the X indicates the minimum yield strength of the metal which is 386 MPa or 56500 Psi and a minimum tensile potency of Psi or 460 Mpa. This mechanical properties makes the metal is strong and durable which helps it withstand various natural and acidic conditions and to complement it the chemical composition adds more value to the metal with a higher percentage of carbon the metal gets good anti corrosive properties.
