ASTM A335 P9 Alloy Steel Seamless Pipe

Alloy steel P9 pipes are the superior quality of stainless steel with added chemical components, which enhances its workability in different environmental conditions. It’s economical in cost and has high availability to its demand, with ease of processing and better mechanical properties. P9 grade stainless steel also provides resistance to various atmospheric conditions along with natural and inorganic chemical oxidizing. This alloy is useful in extreme heat conditions and provides better dependability in various applications. It also fortifies abrasion and erosion and provides better cryogenic stability due to the added molybdenum.

It has a provided tensile strength of 415 MPa and minimum yield strength of 205 MPa, almost similar to the other grades.
