API 5L carbon steel pipes have a wide variety of pipes with differentiated mechanical properties ranging from X42 to X80, which are used for different industrial applications. Similarly, the X46 grade of carbon steel pipes has different mechanical and chemical properties, with a minimum yield strength of 46000 Psi or 320 Mpa and basic tensile strength of 63000 Psi or 435 Mpa, hence this grade falls under the low to medium category and are used in such applications only.
This carbon steel pipes are easily available and are inexpensive in rates, hence many commercial sectors prefer this grade over the other due to it’s long durability and good anti corrosive properties. LG pipes and tubes is one of the leading trader, supplier and exporter of various pipes and fittings including the API 5L X46 grade which is also known as L320 pipes. This grade of pipes are usually formed in seamless and welded form while the ERW form is used in larger diameters.

Diameters ranging from ½ inch to 48 inches, also come in all schedules ranging from SCH 40 to SCH XXS while the length can be altered as per customer specifications. The inexpensive rates and industry certification makes it more favorable for the buyers over the other grades.
